UtilityHubs.in began in 2025 as a side project, not a company — a small collection of everyday calculators and converters, added one at a time in whatever spare time was available around a full-time job. There was no funding round or agency behind it, just one person building tools people kept asking for.
Since then, we've deliberately narrowed the site down to Image and Document/PDF tools — the two categories we could maintain and test properly, rather than spreading thin across many kinds of tools.
UtilityHubs.in is run by Sahil Kumar, the founder and sole maintainer of the site. There is no large editorial team; this is a small, independently operated site, and we'd rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. What we do have is a habit of checking our own formulas carefully before publishing a tool, and a policy of fixing mistakes fast when readers point them out — see the "How We Keep Things Accurate" section below.
UtilityHubs.in now focuses on two categories — Image Tools and Document/PDF Tools — 18 free utilities in total. We deliberately kept the site narrow: rather than spreading across many kinds of tools, every tool here does one image or PDF task well, works without an account, and gives you a result in seconds.
Every tool is tested against real image and PDF files of different sizes and formats before it goes live — not just a single clean demo file. Where a conversion is lossy (like PNG to JPG, or PDF compression), the tool's own page explains exactly what changes so there are no surprises. If you ever run into a file that a tool doesn't handle correctly, please tell us using the Contact page — we'd rather hear about it than have it sit wrong.
We're continuously adding new tools, writing longer guide articles for the topics that need more explaining, and going back through older pages to expand and correct them.
